This wonderful family traveled all the way from the USA and wanted to capture their time in Europe with timeless family photos. While Amsterdam’s city center was buzzing for an event that day and they weren’t after the typical Damrak shots. This gave us the freedom to choose a quieter setting that still reflected the charm of the city.
After a quick refreshment they were ready. Dressed in coordinated black for a sleek and classic look that tied them together beautifully. We moved through the canals, bridges, and hidden corners of Amsterdam for diverse pictures.

This shoot was a surprise engagement carefully planned from start to finish.
Joe reached out to me all the way from Brooklyn. Secretly through MS Teams our very first meeting happened while he was in his car, full of excitement. We clicked instantly. From that moment on, we started crafting the perfect plan together. Location ideas, restaurant suggestions, and most importantly: how to keep everything a surprise for Camilla.
When the big day came, I was quietly in position, camera ready and heart racing. As soon as Joe dropped to one knee, I captured the moment she said yes — right there, between the bikes, bridges and beauty of Amsterdam.
After the proposal, we let the excitement settle and embraced the joy of the moment with a playful and romantic shoot. Real laughter, real love, and a memory of slow dancing on the canals of Amsterdam that they'll carry with them forever.

What began as a quiet plan between Shahrukh and me turned into a picture-perfect surprise engagement on the canals of Amsterdam. As their boat passed under a bridge, he got down on one knee and asked Nida to marry him at just the right moment. Afterwards, I captured their joy with a romantic shoot on the boat.
